Just Dance

Just Dance

The lens that I chose to describe this photo was New Historical lens. The picture that I have is how dance has changed over time. The left is a picture of how they danced years ago, and on the right is a picture of how we dance today. The times have changed a lot since then. The people on the right and on the left are jazz dancing. My friends who are on the right are doing a more up to date way of how jazz is portrayed now. They are doing a move called the tilt. We use different terms than what they used back then. Even the terminology isn’t the same anymore. We do jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, and modern. We have added on to steps and positions that they might not have used back them. But, of course the moves were much simpler back then. These days, the dance styles and steps are much more complicated. As the years go by dance is changing more and more over time which is a good thing which means we are starting to learn more and more as we grow and get better.

Let’s move a little
just a little
grove to the middle and let it sizzle
is that a little old
I guess not
times have changed
but let’s remember where It can from
where the beat first started
where the foot first stepped out
to take a huge turn
lets be great
move a little
there’s nothing wrong with just a sizzle
the old school rhythm that drives you insane
to hear the beat drop
like rain on your window pain
lets her the beautiful lyrics
that forces you to sing along
let it be known
your in control of the dance floor
in control of the movement
of your single step
so lets move
and groove
and sizzle and wiggle
is that old
I guess it may be
but times have changed
let’s remember where it can from
